Born and raised in The Netherlands. I’ve been working within IT for roughly 20 years. Currently as a consultant at Proact IT in Sweden as well as VMware PSO NEMEA.
Nowadays I spend most of my time helping customers design, deploy and manage VMware SDDC (vSphere, NSX, vSAN) and all that comes with that.
It’s no secret that I’m quite passionate about VMware NSX. Not only because the solution brings very cool technology to the table helping organizations accelerate their digital transformation and speed up service delivery. It’s also very interesting how the NSX platform tends to tear down some of the traditional silos found within IT organizations. Bring different people with different backgrounds and competencies together and exciting things can happen.
I’m living in the south of Sweden with my wife and our two kids. I used to be a quite fanatic photographer in my spare time. Unfortunately I acquired moderate brain damage due to a brain abscess in early 2017 and my life changed completely. I’m really grateful to be alive and functioning, albeit with some physical limitations. I’m still in the process of figuring out the “new” me. Maybe I will be able to rewrite this part of my bio in some years from now.
