Born and raised in the Netherlands, I’ve been working in the IT industry for roughly 25 years. Today, I work as a Senior Consultant at Advania, helping customers design and implement VMware by Broadcom solutions.

Over the years, a large part of my work has revolved around VMware NSX. Not just because of the technology itself, but because of what it enables at a broader level. NSX has a way of challenging traditional boundaries between networking, infrastructure, security, and operations, and I’ve always found that intersection particularly interesting. When those silos start to come down, new conversations happen—and that’s often where meaningful change begins.

I live in the south of Sweden with my wife and our two children. Outside of work, I used to be a fairly dedicated photographer and had more hobbies than I could keep up with. A few years ago, acquired brain damage turned life upside down. Today, I’m simply grateful to be alive and back on my feet again, even if that comes with some physical limitations. It has changed my perspective quite a bit, and I try to take each day as it comes, with a clearer understanding than ever that time and health are our most valuable assets.
